OUR STRENGTH
Hot steel drop forging production is divided, according to type, between the plants in Sumirago (VA), Vercelli (VC) and Corio Canavese (TO). In the former, which also houses the management offices, a total of 10 production lines are in operation: 7 press lines (1,250 - 4,000 tons), 3 fly-press lines (850 - 2,100 tons) and 1 hammer line (7,500 kg/m). The production range is from 500 g to 50 kg.
Finally, the Corio Canavese plant is equipped with 4 production lines in total: 2 press lines (4,000 - 6,500 tons), 2 hammer lines (17,500 - 31,500 kg/m) and a rolling mill for ring production. The production range is from 15 kg to 160 kg.
TECHNOLOGY AND KNOW-HOW
The company is equipped with the best technology and latest-generation Magnaflux semi-automatic and ultrasonic control systems. It is also equipped with two innovative 3D GOM optical scanner systems that guarantee final product quality control, as well as retro-engineering on the tooling. Qualified operators, high technology, certified organisation, and the use of raw materials supplied by customer-approved steel mills are the cornerstones of VARESINA STAMPI’S commitment to a final product quality of the highest excellence, and a production capacity of international standards.
